This Mace performance crankshaft is finished from 4340 forged steel which has good durability and strength at high heat applications. These crankshafts undergo multi-stage heat treatment process and are stress relieved and shot peened. The hole on the rod journal will decrease weight and increase energy efficiency. The cross pre-drilled and micro polished journals add further durability and hardness. CNC ground oil holes in the crankshaft provides superior lubrication. At higher RPM's this won't deflect and can take extreme amounts of shock loading's.
This 4.000" stroke crankshaft suits Holden vehicles fitted with the LS1 V8 engine.
